Veterans Resources / About Veterans Forum
« on: November 07, 2019, 04:23:52 pm »
Most all of our Veterans go through brutal and dehumanizing training.  Then, get deployed across the globe to "protect" America, when all too often the protection gig is more than questionable.  Where politics puts our soldiers in harms way for deeply misguided reasons.  Then, these soldiers come home to deal with PTSD completely on their own, with far too little help from the very government that sent them out to "protect" us.

Then, there's the "Invisible War" where 20% of military women and 1% of military men are sexually assaulted by fellow soldiers.

There is far too much wrong with our military training, deployment, "comradery" among soldiers, as well as mistreatment and abandonment after leaving active service.

This Forum is to first research, inform and list community and social resources for our Veterans.  And, we're here to provide a safe space to discuss all relevant issues regarding Veterans of the United State Military.

Missing People / About Missing People Forum
« on: October 10, 2019, 04:53:43 pm »
The idea behind this forum, and the subject listing as a whole is to facilitate listing of people that have gone missing.  And, if it helps find the person, fantastic.  If the person remains missing.  I hope this forum becomes an outlet for people to tell their true stories about the person, in order to remember them.

We're just getting started here, please check back. Or, leave your thoughts and ideas about doing this or a request to start a topic about someone that is, or has been missing from your life.

More instructions on their way...

Introduction to Free Community Meals

Developing this concept for a new nonprofit was never about building a "database."  It was always about keeping things simple, and straight forward.  Besides the fact that the "database" mentality has already failed us all.  Also, and more importantly the internet is now the database.  So, when it comes to a community service providing resource listings that mean something to the community.  Especially, to those most in need.  We need to keep the information completely available, and not stowed away, offline, serving no one.

Though, the internet is an enormous source of information.  There's always the issue of content and information being entered into a website, and then quickly falling out of date.  When something falls out of date, it serves no one.  Unless, the person or organization claiming ownership, relies on a public perception of complete and up to date, but fails to maintain the information.  Example website page & listing hub: www.csrmpls.info/free-meals
